KRISTINA KEATING
Associate Professor
Near Surface Geophysics
Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences
My research in near surface geophysics focuses on using laboratory and field based nuclear magnetic resonance measurements to understand processes occurring in the top 100 m’s of Earth’s surface. My research spans critical zone science, hydrogeophysics, cryosphere geophysics, biogeophysics, and soil science. I am actively involved in science education research to engage students from groups historically underrepresented in the geosciences.
